One of the driving forces at Small Axe Cannabis Co. is the mental well being of our community in Western NC. We believe that regular doses of live local music is fundamental towards brightening everyone’s outlook, our cultural diversity, and overall productivity.

It’s a shared experience that hits the reset button on stress.

But our local musicians face hardships that they’ve never experienced before.  The rise in cost of living, income inequality, and in software like Spotify and AI have made it tougher than ever to carve out a fair living with their artistry alone.

So for the rest of our company’s existence, we will commit a portion of our proceeds to supporting musicians… and we’re calling it the Funk Fund.
